DiVa is a hybrid fractional laser (HFL) that rebuilds the vaginal wall by removing damaged tissue and replacing it with healthy tissue. DiVa is a specialized form of laser resurfacing that can treat vaginal and urinary conditions that arise after childbirth, menopause, or aging.
DiVa has a synergistic approach using two forms of lasers, 2940 nm & 1470 nm wavelengths, simultaneously giving you optimal results. Research has shown that hybrid fractional lasers such as DiVa has improved problems with Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) and Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause(GSM).
In a study by Dr. Castillo and other experts, DiVa has effectively treated women with SUI. His analysis has shown an improvement of 74% at 12 months in SUI. In addition, a 74% resolution in leakage. [1] Wouldn't it feel great to be able to work out, go for a walk, sneeze or laugh without the worry of leakage and odor? Remedy Spa MD is proud to be the only provider in the county that provides this service to the women in our area.
Other symptoms women have during GSM are problems with dryness and lubrication. Unfortunately, women find it difficult to discuss this with each other. It has been taboo to discuss the issues of intercourse. Intercourse with your partner should be an enjoyable experience for both parties. Using fractional lasers has improved 85% dryness [3] and 75% sexual satisfaction while using a sexual function index questionnaire. [2] Wouldn't it be great if a 3-5 minute treatment series package of 3 could help? Exploring a world that shows antiaging is not just creams and injectables for the face but a firm stance for women in feminine rejuvenation. Remedy Spa MD has a team of professionals, including Dr. Pennock MD., who are willing to help consult you through the process.

Vaginal walls can grow “looser” or “weaker” as a result of decreased estrogen production or the stress and tearing from giving birth. DiVa helps restore the vagina by providing measurable improvements in the thickness of vaginal walls. It also helps strengthen the vagina through improved collagen and elastin production which shows decreased laxity.
Vaginal dryness is a common side effect of menopause, though it can also be the unfortunate consequence of childbirth or infection. DiVa’s unique dual lasers treat these issues by resurfacing the vaginal walls and activating collagen and elastin production. Increased elastin and collagen lead to thicker vaginal tissue and improved moisture.
The involuntary loss of urine during movement such as sneezing, coughing, laughing or even walking can activate in the most unwanted of times. Diva shows to improve problematic issues that sometimes lead to unforeseen embarrassment and odor.
The actual treatment time for diVa laser vaginal rejuvenation is 3-5 minutes. Every patient is different, so the number of treatment sessions will vary. In most cases, 3 procedures spaced 4 weeks apart, and single maintenance treatments every 10-12 months are recommended to maintain vaginal health. Most patients don’t find laser treatment to be uncomfortable, but a topical anesthetic may be applied if necessary.
